Illustrated Posters

These are film posters that are hand illustrated with pen and ink. Digitally colored afterwards along with adding typography for the cherry on top effect. I drew these with a limited color palette to have creative restraint and to unleash the ultimate creative spirit within me :b

BEEF BEEF BEEF, one of my personal fav posters of all time. A TV series about rage, road rage and most importantly asians being so pissed off! I tackled this with outrageous black lines and rough edges, but tightened the poster up with a cohesive white type like the Netflix original series design for the show.

Illustrated Poster for Arcane, hit animated show on Netflix. I chose to challenge myself with a nasty color palette, acid green and flamingo pink (aka. vomit colors). Something that’s very important and that caught my eye was the ending, with this space ball looking entity. I chose to paint that and added in the original typefaces from the hit-show. It is my most loved poster from this series!

Illustrated Poster for Bridgerton. A British tale of gossip produced by Shondaland

Illustrated Poster of First Love, A Netflix special made in Hokkaido,Japan.

Illustrated Poster of Hayao Miyazaki’s latest film, The Boy and the Heron.

Illustrated Film Poster of Celine Song’s director debut, an award winning film about one’s long lost love.

Illustrated Poster for I,Tonya. A film about a figure skating legend in America back in 1970s.
